Allan, I'm sure won't mind me saying is 50+, But as previous "FISCies" have shown you don't have to be under 30 to be quick !.
Allan started racing in 1987 in a Healey 3000. He now organises the National Hillclimb championship in England as well as being the competition secretary for Healey Driver International and at Prescott Hillclimb. He has moved away from circuit racing to concentrate on the hillclimb championship in the past couple of years, although he races 2 or 3 times a year with HDI in his Healey 100M.
Allan holds the 1 litre Class record at Prescott Hillclimb in the Sprite and had success at Zandvoort in the 1 litre class when he competed with FISC in 1995.
Allan's Car
This lovely looking 1959 Austin Healey Speedwell Sprite was built in 1990 to a race standard and was succesfully raced in the mid 90's. It has a 998cc powerplant.
Allan is sharing the car, for the 2003 season, with his son Andrew.
